Leader Of The Pack Information for Parents and Students:

LOP Information 2007-2008

To make LOP each quarter

*Total 63 points on your tally sheet.

You cannot make LOP any quarter

*If you had ISS.

*If you had OSS .

*If you made an F in any class.

You make the end of the year picnic

*If you make all three LOP events.

*If you have transferred to ZMS and did not receive a report card any of the first three nine weeks, notify your grade leader that you would like to be considered for the end of the year picnic.

What can a student do

*Tally your points. If your total is 63 or more and you do not receive an invitation, call or email your grade leader.

*If you have transferred to ZMS and did not receive a report card any of the first three nine weeks, notify your grade leader that you would like to be considered for the end of the year picnic.

What can a teacher do

*Make sure every child you teach gets a conduct grade.

*If a mistake was made on a child's report card and it has been corrected since report cards were printed, please notify the grade leader so they can do a new tally sheet.

*Make a tally sheet for all students in your homeroom whose name has not been crossed out. IF a student's name is not on the list please make a tally sheet and make a note to the grade leader on the form.

*Put a number or “missing” in the tally column on every spot. That way the grade leader will know if the child is receiving zero points or it there is a missing grade that needs to be verified.

*If a child is new to your homeroom since last quarter, make a note to the grade leader and turn it in with your tally sheets.

*Turn in your LOP Tally sheets on time.

*Pass out the invitations on Tuesday before the activity. Many students believe they did not make it because they have not been passed out.

*If you think a mistake has been made please notify the grade leader by phone or email. There are other items to check, not just the grades. Let LOP notify the child.

Other Info

*Tally sheets are identical each quarter except 1 st receives points for 3 absences, 2 nd for 6 absences, and 3 rd for 9 absences.
